EXAMINATION
The school holds four Periodic Assessments and two Terminal Examinations
during the academic year. Besides these, weekly test, oral test, open book test,
project work will be conducted to improve the competency of our valuable
assets.
EXAMINATION PATTERN
Grade I-IX
- The academic session is divided into terms (Term 1 and Term 2)
- Each term will carry 100 marks
- Marks Distribution: Internal Assessment - 20 Marks, Term Examination
40 Marks (I-V), 80 Marks (VI-X)
- Internal Assessment has mainly four parts. These are:
(I) Periodic Assessment (5 marks - average of Periodic Assessment)
(ii) Portfolio (5 marks)
(iii) Subject Enrichment (5 marks)
(iv) Multiple Assessment (5 marks)
- Periodic Assessments 1 & 2 are conducted before Term 1 Examination
and Periodic Assessments 3 & 4 are conducted after Term 1 Examination
- All Periodic Assessments will carry 25 marks.
- In order to declare pass a student must secure 33 % marks in each of the subject
Grade X
Board examination is held by CBSE for grade X in the month of March
and results are declared as per CBSE Board. In order to give enough practice
for the board examination, there will be three model examination apart from
the Periodic Assessments. The students are advised to take these examinations
seriously and prepare them well.
- There will be unit test, test papers and open test which will be stretched over
the year
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year
Note : No examination will be conducted eitherbefore or after the scheduled time.
